On My Own

No, not the Michael McDonald and Patti Labelle duet, we're talking about being alone in the gym. What can I do to workout on my own? That is the question of the day, month and year. Despite spending countless hours in the gym, and traveling the country there isn't a day that goes by where someone doesn't ask me via email, text or in person what they can do to get better. I am flattered and honored to be in a position to inspire others to greatness. My only question is what are you doing with the information you are being given? I know there is something about the sound of my voice and the hot air of the gym that gets you pumped up, but you have to continue working even when you aren't in the gym with me barking instructions and giving constant motivation.

So now listen and listen good....Summer League is over, AAU is over, Summer School is over it's time to start doing something different than you did last year. I know many of you will complain about how tired you are and you just want to relax until the fall gets here so you can get back to those mediocre open-gyms and non-competitive fall leagues, I won't stand in your way. I will however for those who are interested offer some drills and exercises that you can do "On Your Own".
